Identify the exact variant.
Record the brand, model, model year, trim and market version shown in the offer. Ask the supplier to confirm the offered variant rather than treating a general brochure as the specification of an individual vehicle.
Keep the same variant name on the quotation, configuration list and supporting vehicle information. Clarify any inconsistency before comparing the offer.
Check the powertrain and layout.
Set out the engine or electric powertrain, transmission, drivetrain and steering position you require. For an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, include the relevant battery and charging details in your request.
